Main site updates

WE did some MUCH needed updates to the main site. We added videos, we updated faq, gallery, some basic updates on info pages, deleted maps and some other goodies incl a new poll question. The forum is next. There is a new version that I will work on getting loaded.

Okay.. To those who did not make it into this calendar I am VERY VERY sorry! Room ran out faster than I thought. I will make you your own calendar with YOUR images if you wish. Please go to the forum and PM me or send in a request via contact us. Size MUST be full. Some rides did not make it for the sole reason the pictures sent in were WAY too small. We need FULL size images to crop them down. We cannot take them from this forum site nor any other site. You MUST submit them yourself. Plymouth@earlyplymouths.com will work fine. IF you want your own personal calendar add 1.50 for the work. Not bad!!!

Got a PM asked why not have a calendar with our rides on it. They made sure to note they love the logo,however at work and such it might not go over to well. I agree and think its a SUPER idea!! What cars? Want your own personal calendar? We can do that! Pick your favorite Plymouth,Mopar or heck and ride post it in the forums with a note and Ill send you a mock up.

New featured ride is up! It's bob K from the forum! Sweet ride and he has more! Maybe if we ask nice he will share another car on the featured ride. Monster Mash Car Bash for charity

2nd Annual Monster Mash Car Bash is open to all makes and models. The charity is once again F.A.S.T. (helping autistic children). It will be held at the Hilton in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 24th, 2009. Come dressed in your costume and you can even dress-up your ride! We are expecting 200-300 cars. Since Gompar's submission we added more lines to the form so the page will be bigger and better. So we owe Gomapar another shot on that car in the featured ride page :) Anyway stop on by check it out. Please feel free to re submit your vehicles. I have 4 or 5 in cue but wont use them as they sit Ill Pm you all and have you re do the submission. We want more info! Its got to excite the Chevy and Ford guys n gals! This is where GOMOPAR went on summer vacation.
First a stop at the resort for a swim, then Calef's...takes you back to the '60's...1860's that is. Then Knights garage, est.1907. That's a Crosley tow truck for clown cars. Then the Super Mods at Lee Speedway. Finally lobsters for dinner.
$3.99 ! What a rip-off, they were $2.99 last week !

Truck show, Barrington,NH

I just came from the largest antique truck and tractor show in the northeast. There was not a single Plymouth truck in the field of over 500 vehicles. If you own a Plymouth truck, hold onto it, it's better than money in the bank.
( these days, anything's better than money in the bank).
Here are some Mopar family trucks though, a very rare Hudson pick-up,a Dodge Brothers hood ornament on a 1921 one ton ( I think), a couple of Dodge PowerWagons, and a Willys Jeepster.

We will begin a new event here at Early Plymouth's called member's featured ride's.
Starting this month we will be featuring a car that is on the forum section of the site. We will have more photo's and the history or the car including the specs and restoration history.
Look for it in the coming days!
To submit your car to be a feature please post your vehicle in the wall section of the forums.

If you get a chance be sure to check out Bob K.'s cars on the forum section. I just saw a wedge project that I never saw he had! He has quite a collection of cars.
Ill post up a teaser picture or two here.
We are working on some new things to add and I am afraid to say... a Myspace lol. Hey what can I say? Anyway Its under plymouth guy. I will post up a link to it later if I am not feeling to dorky about it haha.
Thinking maybe I have too much time on my hands...
